Dr. Seth Carley

Dr. Danesha Seth Carley, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Crop Science, serves as Coordinator of College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) Sustainability Programs at North Carolina State University and Director for Sustainability Development. Dr. Carley is primarily responsible for serving as the College’s point of contact with industry and other external clientele interested in learning more about sustainability programs in CALS. She serves on a number of University committees as the CALS sustainability representative, and also represents the College at meetings nationally, including The Sustainability Consortium, and the Keystone Alliance. Her research and teaching programs focus on sustainable managed ecosystems and the importance of green space in the urban environment.
